Watertown cattle sales
The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 2,300 head Jan. 28, compared to 2,650 head last week and 3,050 last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $2 to $3 lower. The offering included 75% feeder steers, 25% feeder heifers, with 93% over 600 pounds.
