Woodward livestock auction report
The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 4,108 head Dec. 17, compared to 3,600 head last week, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were $2 to $3 lower. Steer and heifer calves were steady to $1 higher. Demand was good for all classes. Weigh to ups were average to gaunt, few full. Quality was plain through attractive. The supply included 63% steers, 35% heifers with 72% over 600 pounds.
