NDA announces new ag youth council membersNebraska Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) Director Merlyn Carlson is pleased to announce the selection of this year's Nebraska Agricultural Youth Council (NAYC) members. The NAYC is comprised of college-age men and women who will be responsible for coordinating numerous agricultural learning experiences for Nebraska youth, including a farm tour for urban youth and the Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute (NAYI). "Nebraska Agricultural Youth Council members have a great sense of the importance of agriculture in Nebraska," said Director Carlson. NAYC members include: --Annette Parde will serve as NAYC Head Counselor. Parde is the daughter of Clarence and Faith Parde, Sterling. --Kiley Roundtree is the son of Tom and Julie Roundtree, Parks. --Helen Hecox is the daughter of Pat and Deb Hecox, Gothenburg. --Andrew Kabes is the son of Dale and Marilee Kabes, Lincoln. --Catherine Hervert is the daughter of Lon and Leann Hervert, Ravenna. --Aaron Kavan is the son of Dale and Tammi Kavan, Colon. --Russell Kavan is the son of Mark and Rita Kavan, Wahoo. --Jenilee Nodlinski is the daughter of Robert Nodlinski, and Mike and Danette Hudson, Hemingford. --Alyssa Smola is the daughter of Rick and Jane Smola, David City. --Sarah Witte is the daughter of Donald and Kelly Witte, and the late Cindy Witte, Scribner. --Kyla Wize is the daughter of Gayle and Carolyn Wize, Willow Island.
