St. Joseph feeder pigs
The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 150 head Aug. 24, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.
Compared to last week, not enough sales for an adequate price comparison on representative weights. However a firmer undertone was noted on active buyer participation. Prices paid per head on actual weights.
U.S. 1 and 2: 50 to 60 lbs., 50.00 to 55.00; 75 to 80 lbs., 60.50 to 67.25; package 85 lbs., 72.00.
