Russell-Ellis County fall crops tour setKansas Farmers make plans to join us on Wednesday, Sept. 1, to view 35 grain sorghum hybrids, 15 sunflower hybrids, and 13 soybean hybrids from 9 different seed companies at the Russell/Ellis County Fall Crops Tour. The field day will begin at 5 p.m. at the soybean plot which is located 4 miles east of Gorham on Highway 40, then 1/4 mile north on County Road 180. Seed Company representatives will be discussing their hybrids, and Extension agronomists and entomologists will be on hand to visit with producers. Then as always there will be a great meal and refreshments served following the field day, sponsored by the hybrid seed companies. All interested individuals are invited to attend the Russell/Ellis County Fall Crops Tour on Wednesday, Sept. 1. No RSVP required. Date: 8/26/04
