Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales
Pratt Livestock Inc., Pratt, Kan., Aug. 26, reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, 300- to 600-pound feeder steers and heifers were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers weighing 600 to 950 pounds were steady to $1 lower, and 600- to 900-pound feeder heifers were steady to $1 lower.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 126.00 to 126.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 118.00 to 121.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 116.00 to 117.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 115.35 to 118.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 112.50 to 115.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 108.50 to 111.50.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 118.00 to 121.25; 650 to 700 lbs., 114.50 to 117.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 112.35 to 115.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 111.35 to 112.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 107.85 to 109.50; 57 head, 868 lbs., 106.60.
