Watertown livestock sales
The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,800 head March 31, compared to 2,000 head last week and 3,000 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Compared to last week, feeder cattle were up $2 with strong demand for light flesh feeders. The offering was 60% feeder steers, 40% heifers, with 95% weighing over 600 pounds.
