WKMA set
to kick off 2004 3i Show
The 3i Show has been an annual event highlighting western Kansas agriculture and industry for 50 years.
The Western Kansas Manufacturers' Association, in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 3i Show, has announced a full slate of activities and events leading up to and during the 2004 show.
3i Show organizers will hold a press conference to update the public on the 2004 show's events. It will take place April 16 at 11:30 a.m. at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Expo Center.
The 50th 3i Show will kick off the evening of April 22 with "Back to the Fifties," a parade in downtown Great Bend. In addition, a Country Music Spectacular will take place in the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium and Town Square the evening of April 23.
At 8:00 a.m. on April 24, "Vintage Saturday in Motion" will take place at the 3i Motor Speedway. The event will feature vintage race cars, tractors, motorcycles, trucks and members of the Central Mud Boggers Association at the new racing venue.
