Autumn Leaves Festival set for Oct. 13 in Hugoton

Western Kansas

The 25th annual Autumn Leaves Arts and Crafts Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, in Hugoton.

The Young Homemakers FCE Unit is looking to fill every building and have outside spaces available also. A wide variety of art work and crafts will be available for the early Christmas shoppers.

The Autumn Leaves Festival is open to any crafter or artisan who makes their own work. There will be no commercial booths.

The enjoyable part for the Young Homemakers FCE Unit is giving the money back to southwest Kansas and the Panhandles by way of needy organizations. Most of the money goes to giving high school seniors a chance to get a scholarship. Students who show great community service are awarded the scholarships.

For more information on how to be a part of this year's great event, contact Joyce Baughman, at (620) 544-7948.
