Barb's Best Banana Cake

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 (large) or 3 (small) bananas, mashed
1/2 cup nuts, chopped finely

Directions: Beat butter well, add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add alternately with sour cream. Fold in vanilla, bananas, and nuts. Put batter in a greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes, or until done.

Notes: This delicious moist cake is a hit anytime.
