Apple Fritters

Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
2 cups water
2 cups flour
8 eggs
1/2 cup apples, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg













Directions: Heat water and margarine until water boils. Stir in flour all at once. Stir over medium heat until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan. Remove from heat and stir in eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth after each egg is added. Fold in apples and nutmeg. Drop mixture by heaping teaspoons into hot oil and fry until golden brown, 2 or 3 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar and eat while hot.
