Coffee Cake

Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
1 3/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling (or blueberry or apple)













Directions: Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Still using mixer, add flour,baking powder and vanilla. Spread 1 1/4 cups batter in a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Spread 1 cup of pie filling over batter, cover with 1 1/4 cup batter. Have oven preheated to 350°F, bake about 45 minutes. Makes 2 - 8 x 8 inch coffee cakes.
