Porcupine Meatballs

4 cups tomato juice
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup rice, uncooked
1/ cup green pepper,chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1 egg
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions: Combine all sauce ingredients, tomato juice, chili powder, allspice, celery seed, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients for meatballs, ground beef, rice, green pepper, celery, egg, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-1/2 inch meat balls. Place in baking dish. Pour sauce over meat balls. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Yields 6 servings.
