1 pound shredded cabbage or 1 bag cole slaw mix
2 grated carrots
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup slivered almonds (optional)
1/3 cup oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 package crushed Ramen noodle
Directions: I usually use 1/2 head of cabbage and grate 2 carrots for color. Mix cabbage, carrots, sunflower seeds, slivered almonds. Mix 1/3 cup oil, 2 tablespoons sugar, seasoning packet from Ramen noodles (oriental; chicken or beef flavor). Put in container and shake together. About 10 minutes before serving, crush noodle package into cabbage; pour liquid mixture over salad and stir to coat. Keeps several days, bet tend to get soggy.
