Apple Spice Salad

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla
4 cups unpeeled and cubed Delicious apples
1 cup green grapes
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
2 sliced bananas
1 cup Spanish peanuts






Directions: Combine sugar and flour in a saucepan, stir well. Add eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, vinegar, water and vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat, let cool. Fold in whipped topping. Fold in apples and grapes. Chill. Right before serving, add the bananas ans peanuts for maximum crunchiness. 8 servings.
