Ingredients:
12 ears sweet corn
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups skim milk
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

Directions: Grate the ears of corn and rub it through a sieve to remove hulls. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls in hot vegetable oil. Turn, brown on both sides. Remove and drain on towels. Serve hot with meal. Serves 6.
