Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
dash salt
2 tablespoons milk
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 (10 oz.) package frozen strawberries
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream

Directions: Mix flour, oil, sugar, salt, and milk in 9 inch pie pan. Divide dough and press with fingers into 2 9 inch pie pans. Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes or until slightly golden. In large mixer bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Add 1 cup sugar, strawberries thawed, vanilla, and lemon juice. Beat 15 minutes. Fold in the whipping cream. Fill pie shells and freeze 4 to 6 hours.
Notes: If using fresh strawberries, mash 1 pint with 1/3 cup of sugar. Garnish with whole strawberries with hulls attached split lengthwise.
