Pear Crunch

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups pears, sliced
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla










Directions: Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, margarine and cinnamon until topping is crumbly. Press half crumbs in greased 9 inch layer pan. Cover with pears. In saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla. Cook, stirring until thick and clear. Pour over pears. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
