Corn Oatmeal Muffins

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 tespoon baking soda
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed










Directions: Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease ten 2 1/2 inch muffin cups. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, oats, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In a small bowl, stir together beaten egg, buttermilk, margarine and brown sugar. Add to dry ingredients. Stir just until blended. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
