Cinnamon Ice Cream Rolls

Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk or water
1 egg
1 package yeast
1/4 cup warm water
3 1/2 cups flour
brown sugar
cinnamon
butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup butter or margarine






Directions: Heat margarine, sugar, salt and milk until sugar is dissolved and mixture is warm (microwave works well). Add to mixture, egg and yeast that has been dissolved in warm water, or just sprinkle dry yeast and add water. Mix in flour 1 cup at a time and work into mixture. Knead until dough is of a consistency that can be handled without sticking to your hands. Let rise until dough is double in size, punch down and let rest 10 minutes. Roll into a rectangle, spread butter cinnamon and brown sugar on dough. Roll and slice into 15 cinnamon rolls. Mix brown sugar, ice cream and margarine, heat and stir. Put this mixture in bottom of a 9X13 inch pan. Place cinnamon rolls on top. Let rise, bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes. When done invert on plate. The original recipe called for frozen dinner rolls, but I like to make my own.

Notes: If you're tired of making the same ole' cinnamon rolls you'll like this variation!
