Cherry Rolls

Ingredients:
2 packages yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup cold milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
2 sticks margarine, cold
1 can cherry pie filling
powdered sugar frosting










Directions: Dissolve yeast in warm water, let set 3 to 5 minutes. Add milk, egg, sugar, salt, mix. Add flour. Mix well. Roll out on floured surface to about 10X14 inches. Slice margarine on 2/3 of the dough, fold other 1/3 on top, then fold again (butter all on the inside). Roll dough out 3 or 4 times to 10 X 14 inches. After the last roll, cut into 3 inch squares. Use about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling for each square, fold in a triangle and seal. Let rise for 30 minutes, bake at 425°F for 10 minutes. Frost with a thin white powdered sugar frosting while hot.
