Rasin/Date Diabetic Cookies

1 cup raisins
1 cup water
1/2 cup dates, chopped
2 eggs
3 teaspoons liquid sweetener
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions: Boil raisins, water and chopped dates for 3 minutes then cool. Cream together eggs, sweetener, margarine and vanilla. Add cinnamon, flour and baking soda to creamed mixture alternately with raisin/date mixture. Mix well and chill several hours. Drop from teaspoon onto greased pans. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.

Notes: Delicious! Soft and chewy. Do not taste like diet cookies.
