Root Beer Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon root beer extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup water
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup margarine, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons root beer extract
2 tablespoons hot water








Directions: Use conventional method of mixing. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375°F oven for 6 to 7 minutes. Frost with glaze of powdered sugar, 1/3 cup margarine, 1 1/2 teaspoons of root beer extract, and hot water.
