Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips

Directions: Cream together butter and sugars. Add the peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt, add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 350°F oven. Remove from oven and cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet, then cool on wire rack.
Notes: Every year I make 30 dozen cookies for a Christmas party, and these are usually the first to go.
