Cheese Blitzs

Ingredients:
1 large loaf thin wheat sandwich bread
1 egg yolk
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon














Directions: Trim crust off bread. Roll flat with rolling pin. Mix softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and egg yolk. Beat well. Spread on the thin slices of rolled bread. Roll up. Then dip in the melted butter or margarine, then in the remaining 1/2 cup sugar mixed with the cinnamon. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. Take out of freezer and thaw for 15 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Makes 22 servings.
