Rhubarb Dessert

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
5 cups rhubarb
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup carnation milk
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar










Directions: Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan. For the crust, mix the 2 cups flour, 1 cup butter or margarine and the 2 tablespoons of sugar. Pat into the pan, and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. For the filling: beat 4 egg yolks, add the carnation milk, the 2 cups of sugar, 4 tablespoons flour, and then stir in the 5 cups of rhubarb. Pour this over the baked crust and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. For the top, beat the 4 egg whites still stiff peaks are formed, add the 3/4 cup of sugar, pour this onto the baked rhubarb and bake until this is lightly browned.,This is a very good dessert. Everyone likes it and always ask for my recipe.
