Taco Bake

Ingredients:
4 - 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1/2 onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 package taco seasoning
3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
2 cups salsa
1 cup sour cream, optional












Directions: Brown ground beef with onion, salt and pepper, add taco seasoning. Layer 2-3 tortillas in bottom of 9x13 inch greased pan. Put ground beef mixture on top. Sprinkle half the cheese on top of mixture, add salsa and sour cream. Put remaining tortillas on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 30 minutes in 350°F oven or until cheese is melted and nicely browned.

Notes: I brown ground beef in bulk and freeze in smaller containers. It makes this recipe quicker.
