Crock Pot Steak Soup

Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
3 cups water
2 small onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 ` carrots, sliced
1 (10 oz.) package frozen mixed vegetables
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon MSG (optional)
2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules










Directions: Put all ingredients in crock pot and stir. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. This soup can also be thickened. One hour before serving, turn to high. Make a paste of 1/2 cup melted margarine plus 1/2 cup flour. Stir into crock pot. cook until thickened.
