Ingredients:
1(10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 large fresh tomato, diced
2 teaspoons dried basil

Directions: Combine all four ingredients in saucepan and heat over medium heat for five minutes. Serves two.
Notes: This is my effort to copy a recipe that I enjoyed at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., and it has become one of my mainstays. It doesn't get any easier than this for a light supper. This recipe could easily be doubled or tripled for a
larger quanity.
