Ingredients:
2 lbs. cod fish
1 teaspoon salt
3 slices lemon
Water
1/2 cup white wine
3 slices onion
1 bay leaf
1/4 to 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions: Put fish in skillet, add salt, lemon, wine, onion, bay leaf, and enough water to cover the fish. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 12 minutes. Melt butter, pour some in bottom of broiler pan. Put in the fish and baste with remaining butter. Broil until golden. Serve with Butter.
