Ground Beef and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients:
11/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
5 slices bacon, cooked and drained
3/4 cup water
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz) box corn muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup grated cheese









Directions: Brown ground beef. Saute onion. Mix beef, onion, salt, pepper, bacon, water and soup, put in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Then combine corn muffin mix, egg, milk and cheese and put over top of casserole. Bake for 40 minutes or until corn bread is done in a 350°F to 375°F oven.
