Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients:
1 pound sausage, ground
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking solda











Directions: Brown and drain sausage well. Beat eggs until fluffy. Beat in buttermilk, flour, sugar, vegetable oil, baking powder, salt and baking soda,until smooth. Add sausage. Grease heated griddle. Makes (16) 4 inch pancakes.

Notes: Any leftovers can be frozen and then zapped in microwave. Sour milk can be used instead of buttermilk.
