Hot Bites

Ingredients:
2 lbs. jalapeño peppers
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
6 slices bacon, fried, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups dry bread crumbs












Directions: Wash peppers and slice in half, lengthwise. Carefully clean all seeds from peppers, (wear rubber gloves). Cream all cheeses, bacon, and spices together until smooth. Stir in bacon. Stuff pepper shells with cheese mixture. Roll each pepper in crumbs and place on sprayed baking sheet, cheese side up. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
