Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 (small) onion
1/2 cloves chopped garlic
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 (small) cans tomato paste
3-3 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 whole bay leaf
1 pound small curd cottage cheese
1 pound cooked rigatoni noodles
4 slices Mozzarella cheese

Directions: Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in oil until crumbly. Add tomato paste, water, basil, oregano, bay leaf, cottage cheese and noodles. Simmer gently 1 hour. Remove bay leaf and place in casserole dish and top with Mozzarella cheese then simmer 10 to 15 minutes more. Serves 6 to 8.
