Oven Barbecued Ribs

Ingredients:
3 to 4 lbs. country style ribs
1 (large) thinly sliced onion
SAUCE:
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups water












Directions: Place ribs in 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 450°F for 30 minutes. Drain. Cover ribs with onion slices. Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and water. Pour over ribs and onions. Reduce oven to 350°F, bake uncovered, 1 1/2 hours. Baste with sauce every 15 minutes. Add water to sauce if it becomes too dry. Serves 3 to 4.

Notes: You can double the recipe.
