6 slices bread (any kind)
1 lb. bulk sausage
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
pepper to taste
Directions: Tear up slices of bread and place in a greased 13x9x2 inch pan or glass dish. Brown sausage in skillet. Drain fat & spoon over bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Beat eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt & pepper. Pour over mixture in dish. Bake in 350°F oven for 30-35 minutes. This can be prepared the night before, covered with plastic wrap and placed in refrigerator. Serves 6-8.
Notes: I like to prepare this casserole when company comes for overnight.
