Cranberry Eye Opener

Ingredients:
5 cored and chopped apples
2 cups whole cranberry sauce
2 cups crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped lettuce
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)












Directions: Wash, core and chop apples. Place in 2 quart mixing bowl. Add rest of ingredients. Toss lightly. Chill. May sweeten to taste. Serves 10.

Notes: This dish goes well with meat, chicken or turkey dinners.
