The Schiltz Center Unload System

GRAIN HANDLING—The Schiltz Center Unload System, from Schiltz Manufacturing, Wessington, S.D., has been improved to make grain handling even easier than before. The complete system now includes sweep tunnels, which eliminate the need of removing the sweep auger and allows users to keep it in the bin after each use. The Schiltz Center Unload System is based on a simple concept: Grain gravity flows into the center sump opening. Once the grain stops flowing, then the vertical auger is engaged by sliding the power head in. This powers the sweep auger which will clean the entire perimeter of your bin, removing the remaining bushels.With the Schiltz system, the discharge tube is up high enough and extends out far enough allowing the auger to conveniently fit underneath it.
